4th Messier object spotted!

I saw the great nebula in Orion last night. An absolute sight even in my 130mm reflector. Like a giant kidney shaped gas explosion.

I thought it was a smudge on the eyepiece at first! Much brighter than M31!

Anyhow about to get the scope out and have another look!!
