Keeping you EQ6 happy

I recently purchased one of these it had an issue with the Alt/ Az bolts but this was fixed and it's been working fine I keep it outside in my SkyShed as it's much too heavy for me to carry about I was just wondering now that the weather is turning so cold is there anything I should be doing to keep it safe and working well the SkyShed is of course waterproof and I have it covered with a waterproof breathable cover and I keep the handset in the house is there anything else I should be doing plus are there any temperatures you shouldn't use it in

Not as far as I know. Mine is now in it's second season out on the garden under a glorifed bin liner and it's working just as well as it's ever done. I've used it on the coldest nights and it hasn't missed a beat either.
