I don't know quite how I missed these, but just bought my first of the: "Patrick Moore Practical Astronomy" series (Springer). For what it's worth: "Deep Sky Video Astronomy". But, as someone rather frustrated with antediluvian texts, what a revelation! All my questions (prayers) answered? Well, most, perhaps! ;)

Are there really 80+ titles in this series? :)

Anyone have any personal favourite(s)?
