SARAS- sharks fin partial eclipse event 4th jan 2011

As many of you will know, there is a partial eclipse visible from the uk on the morning of 4th jan 2011. Scarborough & Ryedale Astronimcal Socitey will be holding an event looking out over the north sea, where we hope weather permitting the sun will rise from the sea as a sharks fin.

Time: arrive early 07:15

Location, Sealife Center Car park, Scarborough. see society website for map. This location gives a good view of sunrise and should provide a good photographic opportunities with scarboroughs famous castle headland.
