Hi Guys

Do any of you have any experience of this Lunar and Planetary camera?

If i were to buy a secondhand one , do any of you have the camera driver software that i could maybe use ?

Also, is there any other software that i would need to use this particular camera.

I have the exact same webcam and it is really very good. I moved up from a Meade LPi and the difference is very noticeable. I took the shot below of Juipter with it thru a SW 200p on an EQ4 with no barlow and was quite please with the level of detail that it picked up.

Mine came with Maxin DL essential which is, quite frankly, rubbish! Throw it away and use something else. Craterlet works quite well with it, but Sharpcap is much better (see the thread about it on this board - it's free and well supported by rwg who wrote it).

An excellent choice, which I cannot recommend highly enough.

I have found this thread over on Cloudy Nights which has a link to the drivers.

If that's no good, I have the CD with the driver and Maxim DL Essential on which I could let you borrow.

In your opinion (thing) would it out perform a SPC880 (flashed to spc900 ) ??
