Hi people

Can anyone help with the settings on my Canon, I'm going to try and photograph the moon, I have a camera adapter and want to use the scope (200P) as the lens

I don't know what settings I need on the shutter speed and AV (Whatever that is!) in manual mode

I have no experience of daytime photography either so please go easy as I don't know what the abreviations are, in other words, total novice!

Any advice muchly appreciated

Set the camera to manual.

Set the shutter speed to around 1/250sec

Aperture will probably say 00 on the camera because the camera doesn't realise it has a lens on it.

Set the iso to around iso200-400

and shoot using the self timer to reduce the amount of vibration in the system.

If the image is too dark increase the iso value or make the shutter speed longer

If the image is too light decrease the iso value or make the shutter speed shorter
