Jupiter - 9th November 2010

My second observation of Jupiter with the 10" Newtonian and the GRS was right in the middle of the disk - a bit of good luck

A light yellow #8 filter really helped to bring out the detail.

The South Equatorial Belt looked very wide.

Skywatcher 10" F/4.7 Newtonian at x174.

Seeing III, light yellow #8 filter.

Nice one Dweller. Great sketch with some super detail in there. Sounds like you're enjoying your new scope! I have had reliable news that the SEB is on the verge of revival...could get very interesting soon!
