Self-guiding with MX716 and AstroArt

Recommended Posts

I have just joined the lounge and need some help in setting up AstroArt to self-guide with my MX716 and the STAR2000 guide interface. I'm OK (but inexperienced) with imaging unguided with the camera and selecting the correct camera settings. I am using a Celestron ASGT mount with a William Optics 80mm scope and had already selected the STAR2000/ST4 option for telescope control. I've also selected the self-guide option in the camera setup controls. I managed to select a suitable guide star and start the telescope tracking but I then could not make the software start imaging. The guide star window showed the software was awaiting for the exposure to start. Has anyone a list of the settings required in AstroArt?

I hope someone can help!
