Skywatcher Mak 127 Auto focus

Good evening all,

Has anyone ever come across (or bespoked) an auto focus system for this scope? I see Skywatcher do one for the refractors but the Mak 127 is not listed as being compatible. I am getting desperate here as it is a real pain in the a*** trying to focus while imaging with a webcam. Eveytime I try to improve the focus I have to wait about a week for the mount to stop shaking only to find that it's still out.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

this is why i sold my az goto mount... that wobble wound me up no end, second hand eq3-2 or eq5 with a motor would be my advice

JMI make a motofocus unit for the Orion and Skywatcher 127 JMI MOTOFOCUS. A bit expensive but may give you some ideas for a diy solution. There is a thread in the DIY ssection for an autofocus unit. mototised focuser mak 127
