SPC900 LX Mods

Have just got my SPC900 back from being LX modded by a very kind chap in Farnham.

Because of the mod, the cam does not fit back into its original case. Any ideas what sort of case I could purchase for it to go into and where I might purchase one?

Also, I need a USB paralell port convertor with a FTDI Chipset to connect to my laptop (or so I'm told! It's all Greek to me!) Again, any ideas where from please?

Finally, with the LX Mod, do I still need to use a IR cut filter?

Maplins do loads of electrical boxes that are easily drilled / cut to take the camera.
