Canon 1000d power

Recommended Posts

You can build a power supply for the camera. You need a dummy battery to which you attach the cable, then insert the dummy in place of the normal battery.

The best guy to ask about this is Psychobilly, or Peter as he is called.

Drop him a PM I'm sure he will advise you further.

He was a big help wth mine.

Ron.

Astronomiser sells them for all the Canon cameras. You can make your own if you sacrifice an old camera battery but you would still need to put together a voltage regulator to supply the camera with the correct voltage. None of the Canon cameras are powered via the USB lead
