Mobile phone moon pic

I had my first go at imaging Jupitor on Tuesday night using my SPC900NC.

What a nightmare !! Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong, and I ended up packing the camera and laptop away without getting a single image.

Out of sheer frustration, I tried taking a picture of the almost full moon by putting my mobile phone up to the eyepiece of my telescope.

I was pleasantly surprised with the result, and at least it was nice to finish the night on a positive note.

The first thing I need to do is get a repair done on the cable that runs from the hand controller to the motor drive on my CG-5 mount (I trapped it when opening the legs of the tripod snapping 2 of the wires )
