North Star Orthoscopic

Has anyone tried and tested the North Star Orthoscopics from Scopes n Skies - are they just as good as the University Optics/Baader versions or just a budget version?

I've not tried those but I've read quite a lot about them (and their clones such as the Apogee Super Abbe Ortho's) on other forums. The verdict seems to be that they are OK but not in the same league as UO HD's and Baader GO's or even possibly the classic "vocano top" orthos.

Would explain their price tag i suppose - are there any suppliers in the uk for the university HD ortho's??

I'm after a 6 possibly a 7mm ortho but don't fancy buying from the us - all that risk and postage costs
