hi all, any one know if the philips t0ucam 810b webcam is suitable for lunar photo work, and would it need much modifying to use thanks

Yes it would work, but there are much better webcams out there. Try a Philips SPC880NC from Morgan Computers. Only £10 + postage & packing. It uses a CCD chip (I believe 810 has a CMOS chip). This which gives you much better low light performance and lower noise.
