Taming my guide cam

I used to have a lot of problems getting my Opticstar 130-M Guide cam to work with my laptop. I had to switch USB ports, re-isntall drivers, turn my laptop on and off etc.

Finally I found a solution that worked every time; I would just disconnect the camera, remove the device from my computer in the windows "Device Manager". Then reconnect it. It worked every time.

Here comes the strange part. After I figured out how to fix the guide cam problem, in a consistend way, it has stopped misbehavig. Now it works as soon as I connect it. First time. Alwways :(

It is alsmost as if it has a will of its own and "Gave up" when I figured out how to force it into working :-) ..
