Well I'm not sure that you do. It is hard to see on the image scale I can muster at the moment but the stars in the corners look pretty round to me. How do they look up close?

The uneven illumination would surely lie within the range that could be callibrated out with flats. I would have thought so anyway.

Wow, three minute for a single sub, looks like you got the alignment sorted.

As Olly said, the stars look pretty round at the edges but its always gonna be hard to tell on a low res web image.

yeah my alignment that night i was very pleased with, I should of focused on a single target and nailed it, but had to to "Sky tour" for visiting family LOL

on the raw, there is very visible stretching around the edges.

next clear night ill do a simular shot for with Bias, Darks, Flats etc.

I do like starfields there stunning

They certainly are. Im having a bash as widefield at the moment and its stunning watching DSS count up the visible stars!!!
