My First Jupiter - how to get it like the rest ?

Taken with a Meade 14" and a SPC9000, 3x 60 exposures using K3CCD Tools and WcCTRl and processed with Registrax5.1

Stack Size is 1714

All feedback is appreciated as its my first Jupiter and I really want to get to the standard of the other Jupiter pics i see on here

Practice focusing. Wait till the planet is about as high as it's going to get (2:30 to 3:00 am at the moment, but getting eariler by 4 minutes per day). Make sure your scope is properly collimated and cooled to ambient temperature (my C11 takes about 3 hours before I can get reasonably sharp images). Stack a smaller percentage of the frames - about a quarter is as many as I ever stack, in poor seeing it can be as low as 10%!
