I started out tonight to get some more time on The Veil, NGC7023.

Basically I couldn't see it on 300s subs on my unmodified 1000D, ED80 combo.

To check alignment of my HEQ5 Goto I slewed to M31 and M82 to check and they were dead centre.

Considering where the Moon was placed was I fooling myself?

In the end I went for an hour on M81/62 and Father Ted on the Tv in the Obsy.
