Andromeda using my new Borg 45

Recommended Posts

Was out with my mate Andy last week at Newlands corner, Guildford.

Was looking forward to using my new toy, a Borg ED 45, yes that's right, a mighty 45mm of aperture!:D

The conditions wern't very good with milky cloud everywhere, plus loads of condensation, but I thought I'm here, lets have a play and have some fun!:)

Took some images of Andromeda on my astrotrac, and the coma at the edges was quite astounding!:)

However I'm sure using my William Optics field flattener next time will sort it!

Comments and opinons welcome, this was just a rough and ready test, anybody here using a Borg 45 to image and can give a few tips to get the best out of it?.

John
