ETX Mount Altitude movement

Ive had a bit of movement in the altitude motion when the mount is clamped down, does not effect the goto or tracking but it just bugged me!

After reading Astro_Baby's guides on how to strip down a high end mount it gave me a bit of inspiration to have a go at seeing what the problem was, after all there is only a few cogs on the little ETX mount!

Im glad i did as it was just two screws that holds the worm gear that was slightly loose, quickly tightened them and its now rock solid.

So thanks mel for writing excellent guides, gave me the nudge to attempt to look at mine! Next job is to re-grease
