Erecting lense/erect image adapter

Would there be a point at all to buy this for my 6" reflector?

Not that I will get into terrestrial viewing, but I thought it would be usefull for when moon gazing: that up is up and down is down as when you're looking at it without a telescope. It would also be usefull when navigating with a moon atlas.

So how about it? Will it really work?

no because you might well get problems achieving focus and the image will suffer and if you use Virtual Moon Atlas you can orientate it to match your scope's view.
