Imaging Venus.

Hello everyone, I am hoping to image venus for the first time tonight, in fact it will be my first attempt to image any planet. I wanted to know if my old webcam would be sensitive enough to capture Venus? It's a logitech e3500 which cost around £20, it has a CMOS chip which some people have said is useless so I just wanted to check if anyone has any insight into the matter, I know I won't get great images, but I'd like to know if I should expect to see the planet at all?

Venus is incredibly bright, very easy to image but don't expect to get anything but the phase. Your cheapo webcam should do fine for that.
