My Telescope needs Eyepieces

Recommended Posts

I would suggest you get an 18mm Plossl eyepiece, and a 2x Barlow lens. The Barlow lens doubles the power of your eyepiece, and you will have magnifications of 28 and 39 with the eyepieces, and 56 and 78 with the Barlow and eyepieces. These powers are about the most you can expect out of a small refractor, but they are fine for seeing many interesting things up there.

When you buy a bigger scope, keep your new eyepieces, and sell the horrible ones with the scope.

Welcome to the forums!

I would not bother with any of the tempting no name brands and like the warthog said better to go for a couple decent eye peices and a barlow.

Welcome to the furum
