I'm really pleased to see this thead :-), because binaries and various multiple star systems are, for me, really fascinating objects to observe.

Throughout the month of April, constellation Leo was very hight and I could see it even from the the kitchen, in the basement.

Pointing my binoculars (12x50) towards Algieba (Gamma Leonis), I noticed that there was another little companion. Then compared the sketches with Stellarium to find that the smaller companion was 40-Leo :-)

Here is one the sketches I drew on that night :-)

But I really needed to see more of them at some point :), so I got onto the robotic telescopes and observed them on several occasions :-)

They're both giant stars of K (Gamma Leonis) and G type (40-Leo) respectively .
