Overnight mist / low cloud / very slight drizzle partially cleared mid morning, transparent sky between the clouds, hot & humid.

Overviews suggest another day of low activity ...

... and little else of any interest. However a detailed look at the activity in the north east quadrant shows that it is much more active than it was yesterday ...

... with a patch of small spots & pores in the plage area closest to the limb ...

Note the changes to the plage in only 8 minutes!

Transparency very good in gaps between drifting low clouds. Seeing generally poor, moderate at times. Temperature 21C, wind N force 1-2.
