Morning disappointing with much mid level cloud partially clearing later, then sea fog spreading in. Afternoon clearer but seeing very unsteady.

Active area 11076 appears to be starting to decline. The large trailing spot has split into two, the penumbra is starting to fragment and the trailing spots are disappearing.

The minor activity north west of AR 11073 now consists of a single small spot with just a suspicion of a couple of pores trailing it

The train of filaments in the north continues to be a prominent feature in Ha

There is a medium sized quiescent prominence on the NNE limb

a group of small faint prominences on the east limb

and low bright eruptive activity on the west limb

but the best prominence on show is a large complex but not very bright one on the SW limb, which is evolving quite fast

Morning session: Transparency poor & variable (drifting sea fog), seeing moderate. Temp 20C, wind NE force 2-3. Afternoon session: Transparency good with occasional interruption from thin mid level cloud. Seeing bad with severe boiling. Temp 19C, wind variable force 1-2.
