Red Moon - 27th May at 22:00

Hi everyone,

Last night showed one of the most amazing low, red Moons I have ever seen, and I tried my hand at imaging it using afocal photography. Here are the results. I was wondering if it is possible to make the surface of the Moon any sharper as it seems a little washed out - is it because it is full, and there is no terminator to give it contrast?

Thanks - they are easy to take - I just point my compact camera down the eyepiece and snap a photo!
