Comet hunting

Hi there!

Does anybody have any tips on how to get going with comet hunting? eg which comets to look for and where, good info books etc? Is there some function on Stellarium which will show where the good ones are?

I'd be quite keen to learn more about this but have no idea where to start.

I only know of this site Heavens-Above Home Page . It shows a few comets brighter than Mag 12:)
