procesing help and advice plz

im starting to get the hang of processing now (sort of )ive been using martin b tuts and there very helpful any advice on inproving my images would be wicked ive lernt how to make a star mask though when ive finished and save my finished tiff the stars around the main object are blured though when i convert to jpg it goes away !!!

m45 5h 3min subs so far ive levels and curves made a star mask sharpened the image and blured faint neb also used noels action made stars more colourful and colour blur reduction... what else can i do
