Atlantis Launch Due.

The Shuttle Atlantis is due to be launched, and is live on NasaTV.

The launch is on hold at 9 minutes at this time, I don't know why though. May be a visibility problem.

Edit: I've just heard them talking about a ball bearing. Surely they didn't find one of those lying around.

It would worry me. From a camera seemingly.

it was a planned hold... but they have issues with a rouge ball bearing that seems to have come from one of the payload bay cameras ...a and may delay the launch...

it not due to go until 18:30 GMT anyway this is a standard hold... but the bearings may mean a balls up and no launch...

I think thats the problem they don't want to risk one of the cameras flying round inside the cargo bay during launch...
