M106 (Approx 3.5 hours)

Recommended Posts

Attached you can find M106 from last night...I don't want to jinx it but I'm having a few nice nights...one after the other which is unusual:)

Anyway, learning all the time, I used my second PSU tonight to run the heaters at approx 1 AMP each to stop any fogging of the lenses. Ran the imaging session in to the early hours of the morning and even made some flats!!!:) for only the second time!!!

The image is approx 35mins RGB binned 2x2 and Lums, 2 hours!

I lost only 3 images due to satellite strikes during the night.

I hope you like it, the colour balance might be a bit off

Looking good Neil :)

You could do with throwing some more colour data at it, and it is looking a little magenta at the moment.

A way to bring out colour more effectively is to add your luminance data at 50% opacity, then tweak the colour layer saturation.

Then combine this into another layer (SHIFT/CTRL/ALT/N/E).

Then add your luminance again at 50% opacity and again tweak the saturation.

Cheers

Rob
