Phil Fargaze
And now for my final sketch from the Spring Star Party. Once I get this out of the way I can go and crawl back to my shed, leave you lot alone and do some practising:eek: Another study of interacting galaxies this one. I made a note in my log to say that the two cores could be well seen but it was difficult to see any spiral structure. I should have spent a bit more time on the sketch really, but I was eager to find other objects. Orion XT10 25cm, F4.7, Date 17:4:10, 00:15 BST, 20mm Nagler, 59X, F.O.V. 1.4 degrees. Seeing III, Transparency medium, degrading to poor.
sheri_barri
Interesting target and nicely detailed. The merging has been captured very well without looking over emphasised.Cheers,Sheri
