Hi

If there are no clou** this week i hope to spend some time on Mars and Saturn. Im using a SPC900N cam and 2 x Barlow on my 250 Newt - I knwo I can try the filter and see what a difference it makes but as always when Im set up time is limited and I dont want to waste any at all so opinions on the filter appreciated. As are any other tips Im using K3CCDTools and WCTR to capture

Depending on the seeing, with planets you need the magnification. If you push the mag and the atmosphere is boiling away, distorting the image, put the IR PASS filter in, sine the infrared light is less disturbed by the atmosphere!

Good luck.
