While doing some "tests" with my Synscan Alt-Az GoTo - Driven by Stellarum, I was unaccountably drawn to click on Eta and Mu Geminorum. Even with indifferent seeing both showed a rather splendid red colouration through my MAK127 and I began to wonder...

Looks like there is indeed a historical association between them:
