May have been mentioned before but:

ESRL Global Monitoring Division - GRAD Group

Seems quite promising for finding true North.

Just dangling m'plumb bob from a tripod, awaiting Solar Noon. :D

P.S. I reckon it's about 13:14 local time in North Wales. Hoping no major data / assumptions are wrong, before I draw my line in the sand. (Or rather indelible marker onto concrete slab!) :)
