It's pretty spectacular today. Images being processed, somewhat delayed by only being able to work intermittently due to a violent headache.

I was observing the sun today and it was showing some spectacular activity.

The prominences @ 7 oclock (when using a pst) are tree like and begin well into the main disc, there are also other prominences to observe and a good few cracking filaments to look at too......Great viewing!!!!

Excellent... been under a blanket of cloud and London work all day...

Oh well...fingers crossed for this weekend at SGL5... hopefully some Sunshine at least...and at best dark n clear nights too!
