BlueAstra
Decided to go for a couple of galaxies after my cluster excursion. Looked cloudy, but the satellite said clear later, so out came the equipment from the garage. And it did clear! Taking some advice to take more subs to reduce the noise, I set up for 20x4m. However, what I did not notice was the wind and its effect on the subs. Only 8 of the subs were useable, mainly due to wind vibration, with the occasional cloud masking, and on one occasion a plane/satellite leaving a nice trail across the sub! Oh, the joys of astrophotography!Anyway, C8+FR+OAG+1000D, 8x4m 800asa DSS+PS (still noisy!)
Sam
That looks pretty good, there's some nice detail in the galaxies:). I think you would benefit from taking some flats and darks - which would clean up a bit of the noise and some of the dusk bunnies.
