I saw Mercury for the first time in my life last night.:(

At first, I could only see it with the bino's but as the sky darkened I could just make it out naked eye before it disappeared behind some trees.

I had the scope setup for Venus so I slewed to the right a bit and took some avi's of Mercury. The colour was all over the place so I captured in mono. I've included a capture of Venus - same time, same setup - as it gives a good indication of Mercury's size and phase.
