Initial data for a Jellyfish HST capture...

Hi All,

Last night was (amazingly for a UK Bank Holiday!) clear over here in East Sussex. Couldn't believe my luck!

The forecast was touch and go, and sat24 was showing a huge band of cloud pushing across the whole country from the west. I almost didn't setup at the speed it was moving over....

However, I am glad I did because I managed to capture 6 x 10 minutes of Ha and 8 x 10 minutes of Oiii data on IC443. I would like to catch some more (fingers crossed for tonight!) in the future, but this will do for an initial stab methinks :( Plan is to grab alot more Ha to really bring out the 'fingers' and then round off with some Sii and some more Oiii.

Scope was the Televue Genesis F/5 101mm refractor atop my EQ6 controlled by EQMOD. Guiding was with the SX guidehead on a Williams Optics 66mm.

Attached is the small version - click here for the larger one
