Who? answer me

A month or so ago I took apart my Schmidt Newt to clean the main mirror a la OWL handwashing technique and put back the JMI electric focuser that I had moved to my GSO Newt. Since then I have be imaging with it whenever it has been clear.

Last night I decided to add another finder bracket so I could have my finder and finderguider on the scope at the same time, to do this the front corrector plate must be removed.

Well blow me down muppet here found the corrector plate screws were loose, I hadn't tightened them up from the previous disassembly not wonder stars were a bit odd shaped on my images. :headbang:

So screws tight - nicely collimated waiting for a clear night.

As I said "what a PLONKER" :) - won't do that again
