The sun held both me and the Mrs captive today, with a lovely showing of sunspots in white light, which we viewed through solar projection, and some very nice prominences and amazing active regions which looked spectacular view through our PST.

When using the 3x barlow and a 12mm eyepiece, there was real detail to be seen around the AR.

My Mrs says she enjoys looking at the sun more than at the rest of the stars.

Just a shame we only had a camera tripod to track it with.

Cant wait to start taking piccies of it :)
