Maxim basic processing & Nikon D5000

Hi all

I have a Nikon D5000 which I use a remote control interval timer from HK to drive.

then I load the images into MaximDl 5.08. However Maxim doesn;t have explicit settings for the bayer mask on this camera so I spent ages last night trying to get a normal photo to colour balance.

In the end I used Xoffset=1, yoffset =0 in the bayer to colour menu, since all nikon settings seemed to give me the wrong balance (pink coats were green, faces were red etc).

Then while trying to go through all my pics to convert to colour prior to stacking, maximDl crashed.

Anyone else using this camera or another not listed in Maxim and what measures were required to get colour imaging working?
