Hi guys. I've been looking into imaging with my telescope. I have a dslr and a reflecting telescope and I have been looking at T-rings. Since I am a cheapskate (my inner Aberdonian showing through ;)), would it be possible to just cut a hole in a body cap for the camera, and glue in an unused eyepiece bit without the lens? This would allow me to connect the camera body and telescope - but is there something else that I'm missing here?

Thanks in advance!

Josh

Yeah you're probably right...I just wanted to see if it was essentially the same thing. Cheers!
