One thing else to bear in mind with OSC... You do not have to worry about not getting all your L & colour data crammed into one night (if you are not permanently mounted) - you get all in every shot.

If you have to setup each night, then re-aligning the camera to get roughly the same rotation can be a real pain with filters, as well as possibly not getting one of the channels. This is not a problem with an obsy setup though, but could be a consideration when choosing between the two types of chip.

yes one of my worries as well. OSC would solve alot of these problems.
