My 200P uses 2 off 5Kg weights on my HEQ5. Even 1 of these is too much for my ST80. If I mount the ST80 on the 200P for guiding the 2 off 5Kg weights are not enough. Awkward!

I needed another 2 to 3Kg weight but they were either very hard to get or much money.

So, this is my spin on the problem, £3.50 weight from Tesco, 2 off M8 bolts from the odds bin and some scrap Al turned on the lathe to make 2 collars.

One collar is hammered into the weight then sandwiched with the second. The bolts have sticky pads on the end so they don't mark the weight bar on the mount.

nice solution there, I have the same problem with my C80ED not being heavy enough for one counterweight.
