Scope on ebay

Its a Tanzutsu Lo-Max 600 (Towa CT-30). If it requires collimation then put a side the next two years to get it right, it was the biggest pig to get right. There was a posting about this scope a couple of months ago.

I picked up one of those very cheap from a photographic shop a few years back - I don't think I ever managed to get a sharp image from it, even on the moon. I tried collimating it and, as Towa says, it's a real so and so. About the only scope I've ever given up on .....

To be honest, I find the prospect of being stranded by myself on a Pacific island and having to remove my own appendix with a spoon

less painful than having to get one of these scope working properly.
