Rosette and Heart from last night

Grabbed the chance to get about 1 hour on the Rosette Nebula and 2 hours on the Heart Nebula last night.

I would be out now adding another couple of hours to these if I didn't have to get up early tomorrow

Both taken with modded 350D and ED80, darks, flats and bias frames subtracted.

Happy with them apart from the background gradient, really must buy GradientXTerminator. Feel free to have a play.

Very good. The Heart takes forever so you have got a lot in little time.

If you don't have GradX there are things you can do in Ps. (I only get this from a Noel Carboni post by the way.) Decide which colour had the gradient. Work on that channel. Use the burn tool with a large well feathered brush set to shadows at a very low value and give the bright area a wipe.
