Where to view from tonight? NW Eng / North Wales

My best friend wants to drive us somewhere tonight with the 70mm refractor we've recently been given, and we were wondering if anyone could help us pick a good location.

We're in Liverpool, and we were going to drive out Mold way but the forecast is could cloud and more cloud. Sadly I have a feeling this is true of everywhere in the UK tonight, but I wondered if anyone knew of any good viewing locations within driving distance of us that are forecast some clear skies?

Blizzards here abouts, all night. So tonight I have sorted an EP case with foam. I got most of them in.............

The weather sucks. Normally I'd say we'd better get a hot summer, but that won't be good for looking up either!
