2nd Moon Attempt 20-02-2010 :-)

Hey guys

This is my second attempt at the moon and first attempt at stacking a few images. They are not great but the processing and shot is a big improvement on my first time :-)

This one is just a standard photo taken with my DSLR attached straight to the telescope.

This is my first image with a 2x barlow. I think I will get a higher power one to get closer to the craters.

Any advice on focus or processing appreciated. :-)

Nice work! Best advice for focussing on a DSLR is a Hartmann Mask. Try Hartmann mask template generator - Billyard Ink to construct your own.
