I Decided to tidy the old shed Cables up , so I brought a HitecAstro mounthub Pro

Mine arrives next week!

David from hitec astro is making me a special with a built in 5 port usb hub and eq mod so i can put the hub on the top of my setup and then all i have is 1x power cable & 1x usb. All being well this should sort out my cable jungle.

I will post some pictures when i get it set up as i think its defiantly the way forward

I wish I had waited now. I considered buying this Hub myself, but went for the predecessor, HitecAstro Stand alone Dew controller.

I have a JMI NGS Focuser, with Focus USB Control from Shoestring.

I wasn't sure the Hub would control my focuser, but I'm now sure it would, although I will make enquiries on that.

The Hub looks a good way to neaten things up a bit.

Hi The Mount Hub Pro will only work with Unipolar Stepper Motors it is compatible with robofocus and moonlight motors and uses the same pin out

Thanks for that David. I think the motor in mine is probably just a simple DC motor geared down. Guessing though.

I'll stick with what I have, it does the job OK.
